How We Ended Up Doing It This Way
Sherman Roofing Texas came out of a frustration that anyone who has hired a roofer in North Texas will recognise. A homeowner gets three bids after a hail event. All three are a single number written on a page. Two of the companies are from out of the area and will be gone by autumn. Nobody has shown the homeowner a single photograph of their own roof, and they are being asked to authorise a five-figure decision on faith. That is the normal experience of buying a roof in this county, and it is indefensible.
So we built the company around the opposite of it. Every roof gets climbed and photographed before a price is mentioned. Every quote is a bid sheet with materials, labor, decking allowance, disposal and permits broken out as separate lines. Every finding gets shown to the property owner in an image rather than described. None of that is expensive to do. It is simply uncomfortable for a trade that has historically benefited from the customer not being able to see the product.
Today we work the whole of Grayson County from the US 75 corridor out to the county line, doing replacement, repair, hail documentation, inspections, leak tracing, metal, commercial systems and gutters. The people who quote your roof are the people who live here, and they will still be here next spring when the cells come through again. That is not a marketing claim so much as the entire basis on which a workmanship warranty is worth anything.
What We Are Actually Trying to Do
Make buying a roof in Sherman a decision a normal person can evaluate. That means photographs before price, itemized quotes instead of lump sums, plain answers about what Texas law does and does not allow a roofing contractor to do, and a willingness to say that a roof does not need replacing when it does not.

Straight on insurance and on the law
Texas law does not allow a roofing contractor to act as a public adjuster, and it makes waiving a deductible a Class B misdemeanour. We follow both, we explain both, and we would encourage anyone in Sherman to treat a company that offers otherwise as a warning.
